Mission Statement
Licensed since 1996 by the state of Kentucky as a child-placing agency, Adopt!inc. is honored to help you make your dream come true. We typically place newborns and can complete home studies for those living in Kentucky. An adoptive parent home study is required to adopt any child. We offer individualized home studies and start when you're ready. The average completion time for home studies by our agency is 6 to 8 weeks.
Domestic Services
Once a home study is complete this puts you on our waiting list to adopt a newborn. If you want to join our Fast Track program we can send your home study to other licensed adoption agencies. Adopt!inc. staff can help you in this decision-making process.
International Services
In Kentucky, the majority of families who adopt internationally work with two adoption agencies: a home study agency (such as Adopt!inc.) and a child-placing agency (an agency that has the "international" connections). For international adoption, we send the completed home studies to the child-placing agency.
We have completed home studies for families who have adopted from many countries. The three most popular at this time are Russia, South Korea, and China. However, we are able to complete home studies for any country.
Birth Parent Services
Many women have unplanned pregnancies. Adopt!inc. enjoys helping women become aware of the many options available. Then, let them make the final decisions. All of our services are free to birth parents and include:
- Adoption counseling
- Housing
- Assistance with prenatal care and medical care
- Assistance with choosing adoptive parents
Ministry
Our adoption fees help fund the “Hope for Tomorrow Children’s Home” a Christ centered ministry of Adopt!inc. in Guatemala. The mission of Hope for Tomorrow is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that includes housing, food, clothing, emotional stability, and education to orphaned and abandoned children.
